Welcome to the Government Information Division Website
The Government Information Division (DGI) is a community of knowledgeable information professionals who share an interest in government information. If you’re not a member already – come join us! The division is not just for federal, state and local government librarians, but for all users of government information. It provides a forum to discuss the value and use of government information and government libraries.
DGI offers a multitude of ways for our members to learn and share news and ideas and some special resources. Our website features conference reports, a frequently-updated blog, and the Government Information Division News Feed powered by LexisNexis. You can find the division on Twitter @SLADGI. The division also has a listserv and a Facebook page to help our members connect with each other, and we’re always looking for new ways to share information.
We encourage all our members to participate in the division. Please consider running for a DGI Executive Board office or serving on one of our committees. Connect with each other via our social media sites and the listserv. See how participating in DGI makes a difference in your professional career.
